Have you applied and got your book?
Your Day 1 videos come after you’ve applied. Applying is what gets you your personalised 100-day plan book and your place in the cohort. If you haven’t done that yet, do it first — it takes about two minutes.
Your colours from Find My Rank are kept either way, so come back here after applying.
Your Day 1 videos.
This is your page for the one thing that has to happen in week one: film two short videos for each of the six movements and send them in. Everything you need is here — what to film, how to film it, and where to send it. Come back to this page until all six are done.
Enter the email you applied with. It's added to each upload so your videos land on your record, and this page remembers you.
Two taps per movement: upload the videos, then the one-minute confirmation. Ticks are saved on this phone, so you can send one, stop, and come back for the next.
Two videos per movement.
Your best clean attempt at the standard for the colour you're claiming. Take as many goes as you like; send the one you're happiest with. This is your rank.
Attempt the next standard up and keep going until you genuinely can't. Don't stop early and don't tidy it up. A rough attempt is worth far more than no attempt — this is where partial credit comes from, and it's how your improvement is measured on Day 100.
Open this page in Safari or Chrome first.
You're inside a messaging app's built-in browser. Dropbox can't take videos from it — it sends you round in circles asking you to sign in. Nothing is wrong with your videos.
- Tap the ··· or share button at the corner of this screen and choose Open in Safari (iPhone) or Open in browser (Android).
- Or copy the link and paste it into Safari or Chrome yourself.
Photos sometimes work from here, videos don't. Everything you've already sent is safe.
Pick your colour, film the two, send.
Choose the colour you're claiming for each movement and this page shows you exactly what both videos need to contain.
How to film so it counts.
iPhone: set it up in 30 seconds
- Settings → Camera → Record Video → choose 1080p at 30 fps.
- Settings → Camera → Formats → choose Most Compatible (that's H.264 MP4, which the upload needs).
- Film in portrait. To trim: open the video in Photos → Edit → drag the ends → Done.
- To check the size: open the video in Photos → swipe up (or tap ⓘ) → the size is listed next to the resolution.
Android: set it up in 30 seconds
- Open the Camera → Video → settings (gear) → Resolution 1080p (FHD), 30 fps. On Samsung, turn off "Advanced video recording options → HEVC" so it saves as H.264.
- Film in portrait. To trim: open the video in Gallery/Photos → Edit → trim → Save.
- To check the size: open the video → ⋮ → Details.
My file is huge / the upload is slow
- There's no size limit any more, so it will get there — but on mobile data a 300 MB 4K clip takes a while. Use Wi-Fi if you can.
- Check you're not recording in 4K or 60 fps (see above); 1080p/30 is what's graded.
- Trim the setup — the attempt itself is what matters.
- Don't send it through a messaging app first — some re-encode badly. Upload straight from your camera roll.
I can't do the standard for any colour yet
I'm claiming Black — what's Video 2?
Dropbox asks for my name and email — which?
Dropbox keeps asking me to sign in / goes round in circles
Something went wrong mid-upload
Can I email my videos instead?
Dropbox above is the way that reaches the graders automatically, and there's no file size limit — try it first. If it kept asking you to sign in, read the question above this one — that's an in-app browser problem with a 10-second fix, not a reason to email.
If Dropbox genuinely won't work for you, email submissions@cali100.co.
- Send a link, not the files. Put your clips in Google Drive, iCloud or WeTransfer and set the link so anyone with it can view. A 90-second clip is around 100 MB and most inboxes reject anything over 25 MB, so attachments usually bounce.
- Include your full name and the email you applied with — the same ones you'd type into Dropbox. That's how your videos get matched to your application.
- Say which movement and which colour each clip is, and which is Video 1 and Video 2.
- Send it early. Emailed submissions are filed by hand, so allow a day — don't send on the deadline.
The declaration.
Every upload asks you to confirm: I filmed these in the last seven days, they are of me, and nobody helped me hold a position I could not hold on my own. That's the whole honesty system. Tick it because it's true.
